# Etherisc claims jury award at ICO Summit


There was a special buzz in the air at last week’s ICO Summit in Zürich, Switzerland. An air of excitement, of energy and of expectation.

There was also a crowded field of startups, investors, blockchain enthusiasts, and opportunists gathered at the main hall of the Aura Club. Some were on hand to sell themselves, some to discover ICOs for the first time. On two different stages, a total of 29 different international startups took turns using their literal five minutes in the limelight to try and stand out from the pack before a panel of investor judges.

Against this background, three teams were honored in the best pre-ICO start-up category — and one was Etherisc, which took home 2nd place.

We are extremely proud and honored to have received this distinction — and to know that our vision of decentralized insurance truly is unique and others recognize its potential.
